What Is Your Favourite Comedy Film?

That's a tough question.  There have been so many great films and comic actors.  My favorites are older films.  The Marx Brothers were great.  I never tire of them.  The Tracy-Heburn movies are classics, such as "Pat and Mike", "Desk Set", and "Adams's Rib".  Woodie Allan films such as "Bananas", "Sleeper",  "Take the Money and Run" and "Play it Again, Sam" Cary Grant was also a comic genius.  "Bringing up Baby" with Katherine Hepburn, and " Monkey Business" are among some his best.  It's hard to pick a favorite, but "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" is near the top of my list.

BRINGING UP BABY, starring Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant and directed by Howard Hawks, is my favorite screwball comedy.  The two stars are perfectly matched, and the pace never lets up.  The Marx Brothers did some brilliant work in most of their early 1930s films; my favorite would have to be horsefeathers , for all the wordplay and the football game at the end.  DR. STRANGELOVE is the greatest film satire of all time.  As for bittersweet romantic comedies, I'd have to say it was a tie between CITY LIGHTS by Charlie Chaplin and MANHATTAN by Woody Allen. Oh, and I pretty much make a fool out of myself laughing at Mel Brooks' three masterworks:  THE PRODUCERS, BLAZING SADDLES, and YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN.

I enjoy Monty Python Holy Grail, The Jerk, Take the Money and Run, and Caveman

My current favorites are "Shanghai Noon" and "Shanghai Nights" with Jackie Chan, and Owen Wilson.
But my all time favorite is "Cheaper By the Dozen" with Clifton Webb, and Myrna Loy made in the 1950s.

It has to be anchor Man. There are so many hilarious scenes in it. Will Ferrell is a comic genius. Too many scenes to remember. One of my favourite bits is when Will's character, Ron Burgundy, plays the jazz flute! :D

My favourite comedy film is Scary Movie 1 or Shaolin Soccer.

I like Mr Bean's movies a lot for its comedy and humourous actions.
