What Did The Europeans Want From Invading V=canada?

They wanted their land. They made a treaty that the canadians (Inuits) would get half of the land and the europeans get the other side. But the Europeans did not stick to their treaty they very slowly took over the land. And eventually had the whole of Canada. They forced the Inuits and canadians to wear what they wore. Or if a slave rags and bits of materials. And also they brought diseases that the inuits weren't amuned to. So half died. We all still think that the europeans were the worst thing that happened in history.
