How Are Changes In Knowledge Connected To Social Change?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

For any type of group action, such as a social movement, to commence, its participants  not only have to be enthusiastic and active, but it is also of the utmost importance that they are aware of the problems that are rampant in the society at large.

Only if a person is educated (and therefore knowledgeable),  will it result in an increase in the awareness about these issues. In other words, education and knowledge arm people to bring about social change.

Changes can be either positive or negative. Often, the lack of knowledge results in the people's inability to accept changes that worsen their lives instead of improving them. Knowledge leads to a more balanced approach and equips people to handle any situation they face, be it good or adverse.
