How Much Does An Aeroplane Ticket From Ireland To Austrailia Cost?

Roundtrip, I don't think you'd get much change from GB £700. I'm looking on Expedia, for travelling out in April 2007 and coming back 4 weeks later, prices start at £687, Dublin to Sydney.

Looked at travelling out for the Aussie spring (September-October time) and came up with over £800.

I wouldn't bet on any of those fares including all airport taxes and fees, either. Plus you've got to change planes somewhere en route, and so additional costs for meals and other expenses related to travelling a long time.

Lastminute.com came up with prices over £1000 for travel in July 2007. But a few fares under £700 if you could travel as soon as April 2007.

Go talk to a travel agent, see what they advise.
