A dancer is a person who expresses through his or her body, presents stories and moves along a certain rhythm to entertain people, by using different forms of dancing that have been established since centuries. A dancer starts off his career from a very young age and in order to be a professional dancer he needs to take proper training.
Dancing gives a person the chance to have a freedom of expression through his body, using dance styles such as ballet, classical, modern, hip hop and many other styles. Most of the dancers have their own styles that make them unique from other dancers. Some dancers perform cultural routines which have been in their tradition since years.
Many dancers perform in musical productions and entertain a large number of audiences. Operas, musical theatres, television, music videos, commercials and movies are the places which require dancers for entertainment purposes. These dances are performed in groups mostly however certain artists are known for their solo performances too.
Dancers have to practice for days to learn the routines and steps along with coordination with the other fellow dancers especially if performing in groups. A choreographer will teach them the steps and the dancers follow the choreographer. If a dancer does not follow them properly, they might even get fired from the group.
