Can A Landlord Make Us Pay The Home Owners Insurance (we Live In Oregon)?
Our landlord is trying to get us to pay his home owners insurance on the house that we are renting. Is that legal?

You get a rentor insurance, a variance of the home owner insurance. that will protect your belongings. No. unless it is part of the lease agreement AS AN ATTACHMENT. Because it is not on the typical lease. and you agree before you sign, you do not have to pay home owner insurance to the landlord.
