SCIENTOLOGY is a money making cult that pretends to be a religion so they do not have to pay taxes and obey labor laws. Employees are classified as volunteers and do not fall under the protections that normal employees are given from abuses by their employer.
Scientology has a 50 year history of human rights violations and has only continued to exist by using heavy handed mafia like tactics called "fair game policies" against anyone it perceives as a threat or a critic.
The protest group called Anonymous has exposed much of these abuses of the legal system and will continue to do so until this insane money cult has been removed from this planet. HAIL XENU, THE GALACTIC OVERLORD!!!!!

The Church of Scientology is a very recently founded religion. It was actually first declared a religion by L. Ron Hubbard, in 1953 when he founded the First Church of Scientology.
Hubbard was quite a controversial figure. For many years he had been a pulp fiction and science fiction author and was very well known and famed for that. However, in 1953, when he declared that the Church of Scientology was 'born' he did lose some of his status and began to be perceived as somewhat strange by orthodox Society.
Primarily this was due to the fact that he said that all humans were derived from Thetans, who were extra terrestrials who had landed on the Earth in a spaceship and had then been put into volcanoes. When the volcanoes erupted, then the Thetans were released and they then dispersed into human bodies (and souls).
However, the Church believes fundamentally that God/gods or a Supreme Being exists and that people can be changed and they can be helped or 'bettered' which is a similar fundamental belief system to many other faiths.
