How Do I Get Pen Ink Stains Out Of My Microfiber Couch?

My 2 year old somehow got access to a ballpoint pen and wrote all over my microfiber couches. I am trying to find a solution to removing the stains.

You can apply any stain out or you can rub it with alcohol. You can also rub detergent and wash it with Clorox liquid bleach and detergent in hot water. Visit the following link for more information.

Thank you. I tried the alcohol and it removed the pen completely from my tan microfiber couch. Just be sure after you initially apply the alcohol to use clean tips to wipe off the excess pen.

I heard that rubbing alcohol got pen out of microfiber....and my couch is white.....i blotted the pen stain with alcohol on a clean white cotton cloth , it took a little elbow grease but the stain came right out.

My son got black ink on my Mocha Brown microfiber couch. Bleach and alcohol are out of the question. It is going to cost me over $100.00 to get it done professionally. Help!!

Hair spray worked great on my red microfiber couch after my son wrote on it with the ball point pen.  It was fast and easy and didn't stain or bleach out the fabric.  Just spray it on and blot it off with a wash rag.

Thanks Guys for the tip.  I was out of rubbing alcohol so I used hand sanitizer as someone suggested and it worked wonders. I have very light beige micro fiber couch and the hand sanitizer immediately removed the ink stains.
