During The Gulf War Who Pays For The Refugees To Be Rehomed?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It was UNHRC, the United Nations body to take care of refugees, which was responsible for the rehabilitation of the refugees that were rooted out from their native place during the Gulf War. Though UNHRC was the prime body to provide the shelter, there are some other sources also that were proved to be quite helpful. Theses sources include the relatives of the people who were displaced and they were living in the neighbouring countries. The countries were Iran, Syria and Jordan.

These countries played a vital role not only because they wanted to support the neighbouring people but also because the relatives in those countries had taken the task on themselves and kept their near ones in their homes. After the war certainly UNHRC was the main shelter provider, but during the war they played very important role.
