How Was The Family Life Of W .E. B. Griffin?

               W.E.B Griffin, an author from U.S. had a good exposure to the German military. His mother was Pennsylvania Dutch; hence his mother was very influential in motivating to study the German language. One of his duties was to supplying food to the German officials, which also played an important role in engraving military information in his mind which he used it in his novels. The military was like a part of his family life. Griffin's creation such as Oberst from the Brotherhood of War novels have been inspired from his life associated with the German military.

                Griffin's wife is from Argentina. His stepson's name is Ignacio. In some of his novels, one can also see characters having an Argentine-American background; this is because his father-in-law is a former Colonel.The family life of Griffin has helped him in many ways in developing characters for his novels.
