What Percentages Of Applicants At NEIU Are Accepted?

    In the academic year 2005-2006 the North-eastern Illinois University accepted seventy five per cent or two thousand two hundred and ninety eight applicants out of all those who met the admission criteria. Only around forty six percent of the students accepted actually joined the University. A total of three thousand and seventy one students had applied to the University. There are several units recommended and required from the High School units including four in English, three in Maths, three in science, three in social studies and two in others; which makes it a total requirement of fifteen units. The University has a fair mix of students with forty nine per cent being Caucasian, twenty five per cent Hispanic, twelve per cent African American and ten per cent Asian.
