Answer Question

No, I don't mean the metal stick object thing that you use to do screws up with! The cocktail called the Screwdriver is made from a combination of orange juice and vodka. It is thought that the popular cocktail was invented in the 1950's when an American oil-rig worker in the Middle East didn't have a swizzle stick handy whilst on a drinking break, so they used a screwdriver instead to stir their cocktail.
The ingredients for the Screwdriver involve using one part of vodka to three parts of pure orange juice and adding a splash of lemon. However, there have been many different versions created since the 50's. Some people prefer to add one or two parts of lemon and lime soda, this is known as the Philips Head Screwdriver. Another variation is the Electric Screwdriver, which is one part raspberry liquor and another type is the Slow and Comfortable Screw Up the Wall, which adds Sloe Gin, Southern Comfort and Galliano. I don't think many sober people would ask for that one though!
