How Much Pepto Bismol Can I Give My Dog After Giving Birth?
My dog just had puppies a few days ago and now she is experiencing diarrhea. Can I give her Pepto Bismol and how much should I give her?
Answers
I would call the vet before you give her anything because the puppies are going to get it in their system too.

Firstly you should be sure that your dog is having diarrhea not dysentery. The Pepto Bismol is also secreted in milk. So avoid large doses. The dose of Pepto Bismol in adults is 2 tablespoons after half or one hour but not more than 16 doses in 24 hours in diluted form. The adult means 60 kg man. So if your dog is 10 kg then up to half tablespoon is sufficient. But it will be better to take him to Vet . For more details, visit Pepto Bismol.
