Can An Employer Not Pay A Worker If They Forget To Punch Their Time Card?
If some one at our company forgets to punch back in after lunch or out at the end of the day, the hours worked are not being paid.

That becomes a battle of there word against yours and if it is company policy to clock in and out, unfortunately its gonna be pretty hard to win. Might be a good idea for that person to talk to there supervisor to try and sooth things over in a calm fashion.

NO! I would report them to the better business burro, they usually investigate, and if you can get someone to witness you or someone else working off the clock it would no longer be their word against yours and you could have a case to sue for lost wages etc. Do they have cameras there? I would even talk with a lawyer.
