    Personal Selling is basically a form of direct communication with potential buyers of a product. The intention is to make a sale. It focuses on developing a relationship with the potential buyers but ends up in closing the sale.

    It is one of the oldest forms of promotion mix. Sales force is used in order to support a push strategy of the manufacturer.
