A Punch Graft is a treatment which is used to help with various different skin problems. Whether you have acne scarring or fine lines and wrinkles, a Punch Graft may be able to help.
Basically it is a fairly drastic treatment and it includes punching sections of skin away from the body using a special tool, and placing it over old skin where your problem areas are. The skin is literally taped onto the old skin for around seven days in order to give it the best possible chance of healing. Unfortunately the treatment will leave behind a small scar but it is usually less noticeable than your original scar that was there. It is especially effective on quite deep, pitted scars and many people swear by it. As with all treatments there are risks involved so it is always better to discuss your options with a doctor and try and look at before and after pictures if possible.
