What If The Earth Did Not Orbit The Sun?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

We (Earth) would constantly be in any of the 4 seasons we have (Winter, spring, summer, Autumn) and maybe also if the earth did not rotate about it's own axis the earth would be in either constant day-light or constant darkness. Surely there will be no plants for food and no animals, insects or birds to feed on them to allow for the food chain cycle to occur. I wont forget to also mention no carbon-dioxide for the plants to give off, which becomes our own oxygen.
Definitely, from this summary it would be inhabitable by any being or creature and even if we did survive somehow, it would be Hell on earth.......Without the fire anyway
