What Could Cause A Red Spot On The Breast?

I have a dime-sized red spot, with a whiteish center on the underside of my right breast. It does not itch. It is slightly harder than the surrounding tissue. It is not where an underwired bra would irritate it. It has been there for two days. The area is somewhat tender.
