What Is The Apple IPhone?

Answer Question

Apple's charismatic CEO Steve Jobs recently unveiled Apple's latest revolutionary device, the Apple IPhone during his keynote speech at the MacWorld conference in San Fransisco.

The Apple IPhone is a cutting edge phone, mp3 music player and Internet communicator.
Some of the features that make the phone so unique are:

Multi-touch, the entire screen is touch sensitive and runs the length of the phone

One Button – the whole phone just has one button, a 'home' button.

Ipod – a full video and audio ipod is built into the phone, it will turn off when your phone rings and turn back on again when the call is ended.

OS X – the phone will run OSX, Apple's own operating system for their computers

Touch to Unlock – worried about the touch screen becoming active in your pocket and the phone calling the police or your mother in law?  Only a swipe from your finger will unlock it!

The IPhone is set to be released in the USA in June and in Europe later in the year (possibly October).  The price is likely to be $499 for a lower end model.
