Between What Years Did The Vietnam War Take Place?

The Vietnam War was also commonly called as Revolution of Vietnam which took place in South east of Asia. It started in 1959 and this war came to an end on 29th of April 1975.The failure of Vietnamese nationalist was the main cause for this war. The United States deployed a huge number of troops and army personnel to the southern part of Vietnam from 1954 and 1973.
   
There were many clashes between the small troops and small units who were patrolling the mountains and jungles. Large scale combat began on later stages where the U.S. aircrafts were targeting the roads which were used for transportation and important logistic networks. Chemical warfare was also practiced on a large scale where chemicals were sprayed from the air to reduce the movement of the enemy soldiers in the combat area. It finally came to an end on 30th April 1975 where large of masses were killed including the civilians.
