You need to unplug its wires and then plug them again. Afterwards you should switch on the TV and then you should tune it. The picture would surely appear.

First connect cable to UHF/VHF output,go to menu press auto programing this should automatically fine tune all channels that it can lock in, other wise sound no picture means you have other problems!most likely you could have shorted hori output transistor and other problems.if you do not see menu pop up on screen then you have no high voltage!
