    How Do You Get Rid Of Fleas?

    My cat just got fleas i have given her a flea bath and put that gel stuff on the back of her neck and she still has fleas!!! I am afraid to do anything else for fear of making her sick with all the chemicals?? Any suggestions?

      When my cat had fleas I did the same thing. My vet told me that I should shave the cat, give him/her a flea bath and it should get rid of the fleas. MAKE SURE that you do it outside so that the fleas don't spread within the house on the shaved hair!

      Adding garlic to the food will help keep fleas away. I mix about 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder into the canned food and my cat has no problem. Too much and they won't eat the food, just make sure it's well mixed.
