How Can I Stop My 1-year-old Sister From Crying Too Much?

I have a baby sister who's barely two years of age. The things is she always cries even in the most shallow situations. She doesn't even know how to speak yet. So the tendency is if what she wants is not given right away, she cries. I know why she does. The problem is I don't know how to cause her to stop and teach her how NOT to cry if she wants something that she obviously cannot say.

It is VERY hard to stop a baby from crying, but just make sure, to make sure she is fed, doesn't need to burp, has a clean diaper, etc., it might not keep her to stop crying, but a little love always helps! :)

Start talking to her all the time, and make sure that you are looking at her when you are doing this, socializing with her will help tremendously. Then introduce tickling, and laughing, all the while talking to her. This brings their level of awareness up, and they always need the positive attention, which is great for them. I did this with my last child, and she was the happiest baby. She loved books, and her siblings. She always had mental stimulation to keep her occupied, and she never cried. Hope this helps, good luck to you and the little one.
