That first answer is a BAD/WRONG answer! You should try to eat something high in protein right after weight lifting. There are a lot of great post-workout powders out there. That way you get the needed protein and nutrients without the bulk of a meal. Muscles are made of protein. If you do not feed the muscles after working them, you will not get the desired effects of weight lifting, instead, your body will continue to store fat and will burn muscle to try to supplement the needed protein and nutrients. If there is a 'Max Muscle' in your city, you should stop in and talk to them. Everyone who works there is not only incredibly built, but they are very well trained in nutrition. They have a lot of great re-hydration and muscle building products.
