Has Any One Tried Out The New IDE FLASH Drives Yet?

I wanted to know the pro's and con's.

Well, the pros of flash-based drives are no moving parts, faster access and low power requirements.  The cons, as they stand at the moment, are limited capacity, cost-per-megabyte and manufacturer take-up (which is really related to the first two).

The only system to really take full advantage of these new flash-based drives (apart from the obvious benefits that I've listed above) is Windows Vista, which requires the use of a hybrid hard disk for laptops to be certified as "Vista Premium capable".
