The radiation that was thought to be a problem years ago was a small amount of radiation that came from the Cathode Ray Tube or CRT in older monitors. There is no danger of radiation from LCD (or plasma to my knowledge) monitors. The only other radiation that I could think of that may prove to be harmful is the radiation given off by the wireless broadband cards used by cell phone companies.

Computer emits radiations, it is effected to eyes, LCD screen is less harmful compare to CRT monitor because CRT tube emits much radiations.
