Where Did The Inspiration For The Book Paddington Bear Come From?
Paddington Bear was inspired from Winnie-the-pooh. Paddington bear is an illusory character in story books for young children. He made his first appearance in the year 1958 and has come in 14 books from then on. The books were written by Michael Bond and were elaborated by Peggy Fortnum.
Paddington speaks English and is an anthropomorphized bear. He wears a tattered hat and refuses to part with it and is always seen with a suitcase which contains his personal belongings. In the previous versions he also wore a Duffle coat and Wellington boots. He is always polite and gentle and tries his best to get things right and is known for getting into trouble. The first book published on him was named "A Bear Called Paddington" released in the year 1958.
