The Giantscoast or the Giant's Causeway is in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It's an area of geological interest. It consists of more than 40,000 interlocking columns which were formed by a volcanic eruption. It's close to the town of Bushmills in Antrim County, Northern Ireland.

The Giant's Causeway is at the base of the basalt Cliffs and on the sea coast and the Antrim Plateau in Northern Ireland. The columns are mostly hexagonal, but there some that have five and seven and even eight sides. The tallest are 12 meters and the thickness of the solidified lava in some places is 28 meters.

The Giant's Causeway was declared a World Heritage Site in 1986 by UNESCO and it's also a National Nature Reserve.
