How Do You Fold A Box?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Boxes come in various sizes and are used as packing cases to pack fridges, television sets, washing machines etc. More often then not they are made of cardboard sheets stuck to each other. They protect the product from scratches and wear and tear while moving. Each box has its central four sides riveted together with staples. The remaining flaps on both sides are free and can be closed manually. The flaps are four in all on either side and extend from the four sides. The four sides or flaps should be folded overlapping each other and not one on top of the other. In this way they form an interlocking mass which will not open on its own. The end of each flap should be over the end of the other. Masking tape can also be used to seal the ends shut.
