Different countries and different areas of the same countries have different terms for the charges of cleaning houses. The best method for this is to charge per square footage. The other methods used in different countries are to charge per house means to charge with the size of the house, if you have one acre area on which the house is built then the charges are fixed for one acre but in some areas the charges are received by viewing the work. If the house needs much work to clean, the cost will be high and if there is less garbage in the house to clean, there will be low charges. It depends on the stories of the house too.
If the house has multiple stories, it will cost higher rather than having a single story house. If you are charging with the method, per square footage, then you must know the stories of the house, if it is of one story house, it will cost single. But if the house has more than one floor, it will multiply with the number of stories. And if the upper story does not occupy the full area of the house, then the charges of the upper story will be according to the area of the upper story and will add in the charges of lower story.

You should charge by the hour and work at a reasonable pace. It is not always easy to judge how long it will take because it depends on how the contractors work and if they use dropcloths, paint splatter shields etc. Use rubbing alcohol to polish the fixtures.
