Yes, u will have 2 go down there ALL the time. I love animals, i had 2 ponies but they took so much time. Only commit 2 it if u have the time and r willing 2 be there a lot. :-S

Depends what you call hard..You have to feed them,muck out their stalls,ride them,groom them clean them and love them.
