When I Boil Water Using My Electric Kettle, It Makes A Sort Of Roaring Sound. Why Is This?
When I switch my electric kettle on, it makes a roaring sound which gets louder as the water gets hotter. I've looked inside it as it boils and it's not due to the water forming bubbles, so why does it make this sound?

According to this website.. It's due to having a small amount of water in the kettle. Like only 1 cup. www.halfbakery.com
