If you just purchased it then take it back and make the seller repair it. If you bought it used then you now know why you got a good deal on it. Here are a few possibilities: Motherboard forcing shutdown due to high heat - possibly the fan has failed. Your power supply could be defective or overheating. The battery may be defective. If the computer operates correctly when plugged in then try replacing the battery first, otherwise you'll need to contact the manufacturer for repair.
