It is published in the United Kingdom. Hello! is sold in several other countries apart from Britain, including Greece, Russia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. The first issue of Hello! was published in 1988. The parent company that brings out Hello! is Hello Limited, which is based in Spain. It is owned by the Spanish publisher Edward Sanchez Junco. The current editor of Hello! is Ronnie Whelan. It is the English-language version of a Spanish magazine called Hola! A French edition of Hello!, called Ohla!, was in circulation for a period of six years between 1998 and 2004.
