Is He Attracted To Me?

We do get on very well but if he says something nice about me he looks at the floor. His eye contact is excellent up to this point. He said yesterday I think YOUR ace because....then quickly changed it to I think IT'S ace because.... Whilst looking at the floor again. He compliments me every time I see him. He stood by me the other day and moved over towards me so people could get past. His tummy touched me but I didn't move and neither did he. Can you figure him out?

I detect a case of shyness coming from him. Daaaaaaaw. Those were the days. I think he is shy and don't want to see your facial expression when he compliments you. Me personally, the next time he compliments you and looks down, tilt his chin up and smile and say thank you I appreciate it only to allow him that sigh of relief. In his mind he would be like: Whew okay....she didn't think that was awkward and she likes me. I hope that helps. But overall, I think he is shy.

This guy sounds as if he is extremely shy. It sounds like he does like you but is afraid of rejection or ruining a friendship. What he really needs is a boost of confidence. If you like him, which it also sounds as if you do, then tell him so but expect him to shy away at first and not respond. Give him time to think about what you told him. Or, better yet, after he gives you a compliment, tell him how much you enjoy him doing that but make sure he sees your face when you tell him. You may have to do it more than once and soon he will come out of his shell and I would guess you two will begin going out.
