What Is Absolute Zero?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The connection between temperature of gasses and force is known as absolute Zero. The situation was first anticipated by Guillaume Amontons (a French scientific instrument inventor and physicist.) in 1702. Since he lacked exact and accurate thermomenters his results were considered to be semi-quantitative,  but was determined of the fact that, the force of the gas increases between the boling point of water and freezing point.
The tip on the thermodynamic (absolute) temperature scale where the high temperature energy is at the lowest level, is called absolute Zero. The high temperature at which an ideal gas would exercise no force. The Celsius temperature scale starts at absolute Zero which on the Fahrenheit scale is roughly -459.67 °F and not a 0 degree Fahrenheit. The absolute zero falls at 0 K only on the Kelvin temperature scale.
