How Does One Understand A Car Warranty?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

To understand a car warranty, firstly get your hands on it. Then you will have to figure out that almost everything is covered. Get your hands on the manual and read about the tires and battery. Think of a power train or drive train warranty, as one that covers all those parts of the car that make it run.

For example, engine, drive line, transmission, etc. Take a look at the emissions control warranty and emission performance warranty for coverage of any emissions control system in your car. Don't rely too much on warranties like rust perforation or on corrosion. Claims are usually turned down unless the rust has made a hole through the car.

Follow these previous steps to understand your car warranty properly.
