What Year Was Popcorn Invented?

It was not invented ,it was more of a discovery when a field caught fire...so no one really knows when ...but here is a page that has the history after it was stumbled upon by humans...www.essortment.com

I doubt we'll ever know, exactly, but we believe it was discovered by north american natives thousands of years ago.
