    The debate is always started from a question on any topic. To debate on any topic you should have good hand on knowledge of the topic or subject. A question for a debate can be what do you think is the greatest American rock band of all time.

    The debates topics can be;

    Politics
    Religion
    Environment
    Social Sciences
    Employment
    Music
    Media etc

    You can get information of all the topics by searching the keyword on Google.

      You want people who have never met these children to give you ideas on debates. You must first know the children and what they are into. Kids from different backgrounds have different interests. Stop and listen to them talking to each other and see what the main topics are. Give them more credit thank you think the deserve as the really do have some interest in things such as politics even though they will not admit it. See how much they are aware of the war in Iraq (I assume you are from the US, of course)

      Really though, you need to stop and listen to the kids to see what they are into. As a parent, I have found out more details about my kids by listening to them talk to their friends while I am transporting them to and from events. You must listen from a distance but yet still let them know you are there so they don't go overboard as there are some topics that you don't want to know about.
