The main purpose of a washing machine is to wash clothes. It is basically designed to clean laundry. It is an expression generally used only for machines which primarily use water as a cleaning solution, in contrast to dry cleaning or ultrasonic cleaners.
The first British patent under the class of washing machine was released in the year 1691. The design or pattern of the initial washing machine emerged in early in the year 1752. The design was printed in the "The Gentlemen's Magazine".
Then over the period of year the electrical washing machine was designed and its mass production was started in the year 1906. The current new versions of the washing are of two types "Top Loading" and "Front Loading". The top loading format is quiet famous in the United States, Canada, Australia and some parts of Europe. Where as the "Front Loading" system is quiet commonly used in Europe and Middle East.
