Are Skunks Ok To Have As Pets In Idaho?

I think that it is legal there but personally I won't suggest that you keep skunks as pets, especially if there are children living in you house. Skunks are highly infectious and they can be dangerous at times as well.

I don't know about Idaho but in Pennsylvania I can get one with a permit and they are such cool pets. They are one of the funniest pets I have ever seen. They have personality of their own. I wish you the best of luck and hope you can get one in Idaho.

As for Skunks or the Polecat, legal or not you will have to see to a medical procedure being performed first, or the perfumed essence of their defense might well be pointed in your direction! They make excellent house pets and are self cleaning and are very family orientated that is once their scent gland has been removed as a young animal!
