    Different formats of DVD which are as follows:

    DVD+R is a format similar to CD-R. In this data is recorded once and becomes permanent on the disc. DVD+RW is a format which is same as CD-RW. In this the data can be erased and recorded many time. DVD-RAM discs can be store/formatted frequently and are also compatible with other devices which support the DVD-RAM format. DVD-ROM is a read-only format. The video games DVD will run on any machine which has DVD-ROM.
