    It is Staph,, which is short for Staphylococcus.
    MRSA stands for Methycillin resistant staphylococcus aureus. This is a bacteria that is not easily treated w/antibiotics because it has become resistant to antibiotics due, in part, to overprescribing. Why is he worried? If he is healthy, usually staph infection is not an issue. Keep in mind I said usually.
