A Copyright is actually a protective measure that is applied to any form of literature, an idea or any kind of information that is the exclusive creation and ownership of a person or an organization.

Copyrights are a legal right given to the creator for the distribution, publication or further selling of an idea or any kind of information. That way no one else can copy it for his own use or for publishing purpose.

Copyrights last for a long period of time and can even extend to 100 years after the death of the author. A copyright can be used for a number of things such as movies, dance, audio, compositions of music, paintings, photographs, plays, poems, software, radio and television programs, etc.
