Well... Because they use vowels and don't have an "l" it should be something like mishaeru.
In katakana it would be: ミシャエル i'm not japanese so it might be wrong.

I took 2 years of japanese speaking and writing. If im reading this right, michael as in MIKE and EL type of thing it's:
Ma i Ke Ru
マェ ケ ル
The "i" is a little because you blend it in with "ma" so it's not "Ma-i" it's "Mai" (as if you were saying "my" with little bit of a emphasis on the "i")
and you roll the r.
