Does An Area Of Redness Mean A Positive Tb Skin Test?

I had a Tb skin test done and was told that it was negative. I have been doing research and the pictures i am seeing look like my arm looked at the injection site. I had redness 19mm in diameter but not necessarily and swelling or hardening of tissue. I just need to know if redness without the hardening or swelling means a positive Tb test.

Not necessarily! If you have a negative test of TB then it must be because of some other reason that you have such redness. It can be rashes, Dermatitis and other skin infections. Do not worry and get the complete details from the given link; Redness of skin

Your TB skin test is NEGATIVE. It must have indicated (if the skin is slightly raised) for it to be positive. I know, I'm a nurse.
