    On an average, Artic terns weigh approximately under 2 lb which is about 0.907 184 74 kilogram or 2 pounds. Length of the bird is about 12-15 inches. The usual colour of an Artic tern is white and it has a black head. The bird's beak is long and bright orange in colour. Artic terns inhabit the whole of the Northern Hemisphere of the arctic Area. Their usual diet consists of small fish, krill, and shrimp.

    They even eat small insects and invertebrates. It is a small bird and weighs less then 1 kilogram which is about 2 pounds. It must be small in size and light weight; however, these birds migrate 22,000 miles every year in search and habitat. This id the longest distance covered by any specie of migrating bird in the world. The distance is ever increase because of the flying habit of the bird as it takes a lot of excursions while flying and does not fly in a straight line. They are mostly seen in the daylight and they fly almost non stop for days without touching the ground.
