Central park is located in the New York City area and it is a very large park with a total area of 843 acres. It receives almost 25 million people as visitors each year which is quite a lot. The park opened in the year 1859 and today it has many attractions like ice skating rinks, lakes and a zoo etc. On the other hand, the Prospect park located in Brooklyn, New York has an area of 585 acres. Although this is a large park but it is smaller than Central park by 258 acres.
