Can A Dog Have Childrens Tylenol?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

No, I would not give Tylenol unless under supervision of your veterinarian.  Medications are weight based in dogs and even a Children's Tylenol can be an overdose for dogs.  Also this may not be the appropriate treatment for your dog's condition.  Lastly non-steroidal anti-inflammatories can lead to gastrointestinal problems, kidney and liver problems--it is important your dog is healthy and their kidney/liver values have been screened before starting this medication.
