It could be that you have a blown fuse, nameingly the "Shift-Lock" fuse (10A). You could check that.
Another possible cause could be the shift-lock sensor which is on the back of the brake pedal. As you know, you have to apply the brake to shift out of park, so you might need to try pushing harder on the brake pedal.
Last thing you can try is using the button on the shifter, if that is working. If that does work, you may have a problem with the shifter.
